She has to overcome her fears and has to undergo a change of character to meet the opposing forces. ![]() The statement further accentuates Meg’s character arc in that she has to finally take charge and face the adversity. “How much time had she wasted living in fear? Living for others? How much of her life would she continue to let slip away without enjoying a single moment? That ended. The assertion, therefore, demonstrates Meg’s attitude towards her environment in the initial stages. Henceforth she has complete the character arc unlike the rest of the characters. Since she is the protagonist she has to overcome her fears and gain the courage to tackle the conflict that is about to arise. Meg takes time to actually make her mind whether to approach her crush TJ or just hold back. The other characters easily take charge of their social life and overtly pursue their romantic interests. Minnie, unlike Meg, is more outgoing and impulsive whilst Meg is not necessarily reserved just needs more to get out of her shell. “Because I watch everyone all the time?
